Healing Hearts Emergency Animal Hospital is a purpose-driven, relationship-first emergency and specialty veterinary hospital located in Laguna Hills, California. Founded by Dr. Bob Berschauer, our hospital was built on the belief that doing the hard work is the right thing to do — for the pets who need us and the families who trust us.

 We are a privately owned hospital where decisions are made by the people who practice and work here every day — with a focus on exceptional patient care, team well-being, and long-term sustainability. We are now expanding our specialty services and are looking for a board-certified cardiologist to help build and lead our cardiology program in a hospital that is ready to support you.

 Located in Laguna Hills, you’ll enjoy the beauty of coastal Southern California — beaches, sunshine, and one of the most vibrant communities in all of Orange County.

Who We’re Looking For

DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution

• Board certification in Cardiology (ACVIM – Cardiology) required
• Experience with echocardiography, interventional procedures, and cardiac diagnostics
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach
• A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for advancing specialty cardiac care
• Experience developing or growing a cardiology program is a plus

 Both seasoned specialists and those early in their specialty career are encouraged to apply.
